This Arran single malt has been aged for 7-8 years in bourbon casks followed by a 9-month finishing period in Amarone wine casks, sourced from an artisan producer in the Veneto region of Italy. The nose suggests cherries, chocolate and nougat. On the palate, there is a fruity acidity similar to cranberries, complemented by poached pears and hints of honey.
