Auxey-Duresses Premier Cru Roulot 2023 is a Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune. Sourced from a high-altitude site with limestone-rich soils, this wine is defined by its vibrant citrus zest and white blossom aromatics, all underscored by a persistent, saline mineral streak. Its structure is balanced and energetic, showing the typical precision and length of the Roulot house style. Auxey-Duresses has long been considered the `hidden gem` of the Côte de Beaune, with the Roulot family acting as pioneers in recognising the potential of these higher-elevation plots that offer a cooler microclimate than the neighbouring Meursault.
