The Vietti Barolo Rocche di Castiglione 2010 is a single-vineyard Nebbiolo from the highly regarded Rocche di Castiglione cru, located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto. Vietti produces this wine from a small parcel of approximately 8,000 square metres within the vineyard, which is renowned for its south-east exposure, silty-sandy soil and high concentration of active limestone. The 2010 vintage is considered exceptional. This Barolo offers a complex, full-bodied profile with intense aromas of dried roses, liquorice, spice and truffles. It is elegant, with strong yet silky, balanced tannins leading to a long persistent finish.
