Knitted in Donegal wool, spun with flecks of contrast fibre through the yarn so the surface has genuine depth and texture rather than a flat, single-tone face. The turtleneck is worked in a medium gauge, substantial enough to wear on its own, with a ribbed roll neck, cuffs and hem that give it a close, considered finish rather than a boxy one.

The base colour is pecan, a rich mid-brown, flecked through with lighter and darker threads in the traditional Donegal manner so the tone shifts slightly depending on the light. It is a heavier knit than the Geelong pieces, built with cold days rather than layering in mind.
