Ceritas Trout Gulch Pinot Noir 2017 is a red wine from a cool-climate vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The 2017 vintage was marked by a late-season heatwave, but the old vines at Trout Gulch maintained their character thanks to the site microclimate. This release has matured into a complex array of red cherries, rose petals and damp earth, with a palate that remains fresh and energetic. The tannins have softened into a silky texture, while the vibrant acidity continues to provide a structural framework.
