Based in Chambolle-Musigny, Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier has been running the domaine that bears his name since the mid-1980s. His Chambolle-Musigny is assembled from two parcels. Les Plantes, covering circa 0.56 hectares and planted in 1968-69, and La Combe d’Orveau, stretching over approximately 0.77 hectares, with vines planted over several periods between 1952 and 1998. The 2006 vintage is a signature Mugnier, with spot-on fruit purity, transparency and silky elegance.
