Highly concentrated, it is the ultimate eye balm. It combines the powerful signature SUBLIMAGE active ingredients, Vanilla Planifolia and Swertia extracts, with a new remodelling complex in order to act on the skin's natural cycles. Swertia extract targets the skin's natural revival mechanisms, which are more intense at night. In addition, the remodelling complex helps visibly fortify the skin around the eyes, while polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia nourishes the skin, for even more intense action during the day.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Developed by CHANEL Research, SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Baume Regard is an exceptional eye balm with a high concentration of active ingredients:

Vanilla Planifolia: Identified by CHANEL in 1995 and selected from among more than 117 varieties of vanilla, Vanilla Planifolia is extraordinarily rich in polyketones. A flower that likes both the shade and the light, it grows in darkness and blooms in the light of dawn. To obtain the signature SUBLIMAGE active ingredient, CHANEL Research developed Vanilla Planifolia polyfractioning after several years of study. This unique process makes it possible to concentrate the active molecules from the plant in three successive steps: extraction, purification and molecular distillation. Polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, the product of this long and meticulous patented* process, is an active ingredient that has a 40 times higher concentration of active molecules than the raw plant material. Within the skin, it supports natural vitality**.

Himalayan Swertia is sourced from a treasure trove of biodiversity in Bhutan, where it has been used for centuries to care for the skin. The product of a sustainable local partnership with CHANEL Research, it is harvested by hand every three years, which reflects the length of its flowering cycle. It is then transformed through a process specific to CHANEL, resulting in an active ingredient complex that nourishes and helps revive the skin.

HOW TO USE

Apply SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait de Nuit, then follow it with SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Baume Regard, ideally at night, forming the ultimate overnight repair duo.

Scoop up a small amount of product – about the size of a grain of rice – with the applicator. Dab it on the under-eye area, eyelid and outer corner of the eye. Using your fingers, gently smooth from the inner corner towards the outer corner of the eye, then along the upper eyelid. Continue the movement on the fine lines at the outer corner of the eye, alternating between the index and middle finger. Repeat each movement three times.

Follow this with LE GESTE BEAUTÉ DU REGARD, developed by CHANEL experts to maximise the benefits of SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Baume Regard:
1. THE LIFTING TECHNIQUE: Smooth the upper eyelid using upward movements, with one finger after another, for an eye-opening effect. Repeat three times.
2. THE SMOOTHING TECHNIQUE: On the fine lines at the outer corner of the eye, perform smoothing movements with one finger then the other, working out towards the temple. Repeat three times.
3. THE ANTI-DARK CIRCLE TECHNIQUE: Gently smooth the under-eye area with one finger, then the other. Begin on the outer third of the eye and smooth outward. With each new movement, start slightly closer to the inner corner of the eye. Repeat three times.

To complete LE GESTE BEAUTÉ DU REGARD, use the applicator to perform zigzag movements on the fine lines at the outer corner of the eye, working from the corner of the eye out to the temple. Repeat three times.
