Domaine Amiot-Servelle Charmes-Chambertin En Mazoyères 2023 is a Grand Cru Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. While most of this vineyard is flat, the Amiot-Servelle 0.19-hectare slice in Mazoyères sits on thinner soils that produce a more vertical, athletic wine than typical Charmes. The 2023 displays a darker, more brooding fruit profile than the rest of the cellar, marked by forest floor, wild blackberry and an exotic spice note. It is a muscular Grand Cru that trades Chambolle`s usual prettiness for Gevrey’s structural grip and earthy depth, reflecting the high level of phenolic maturity reached during the warm September harvest.
