Domaine Geantet-Pansiot Charmes-Chambertin is a Grand Cru red Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits. The estate is known for a lush, fruit-forward style achieved through a long pre-fermentation cold soak and careful handling of the grapes. In the ripe 2005 vintage, this approach resulted in a wine of immense depth and textural richness. The fruit comes from a parcel within the Charmes-Chambertin Bas, where the soils are slightly deeper and more clay-rich. It offers a decadent profile of black cherries, spices and soft, integrated tannins.
