Clos de Vougeot AF Gros 2023 is a Grand Cru red wine from the Côte de Nuits. Fruit for this wine is sourced from the centre of the Clos, where deeper clay soils give breadth and depth to the fruit. The domaine’s holdings lie near the château, an area known for wines of structure and longevity. The 2023 vintage shows bright red and black fruit with hints of spice and earth, supported by supple but defined tannins. Acidity provides lift through the mid-palate, balancing the wine’s natural generosity. Subtle oak influence adds polish without excess, and the finish carries weight and freshness in equal measure.
