Domaine Faiveley is one of the truly great, historic wine estates of Burgundy, with stunning cellars and many glorious holdings from Gevrey to Pommard, via some brilliant Grands Crus. The 2017 Corton Clos des Corton Faiveley Grand Cru comes from a monopole of around 2.76 hectares. It shows pronounced aromas of red currants, cranberries, fig jam and dates. The medium-bodied palate displays supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Drink 2024-2040.
