Côtes-du-Rhône Château de Fonsalette Syrah Rayas 1985 is a mature Syrah red wine from the Southern Rhône Valley. This cuvée reflects this revered estate`s commitment to expressing terroir through a minimalist approach. The 1985 growing season provided ideal conditions for a late-harvest, allowing the wine to develop complex nuances. Aromas of dried herbs and iron mark its profile, alongside a light, transparent body. Château de Fonsalette is owned by the Reynaud family was managed by Emmanuel Reynaud at the Château Rayas cellars until his untimely death in November 2025. His sons, Benoît and Louis-Damien, are now tasked with continuing the family’s work.
