The 1999 Dominus is a Napa Bordeaux-style blend crafted from a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. This vintage was aged for 16-18 months in 40% new French oak. On the nose, it reveals notes of roasted herbs, dark cherries and tobacco. The palate shows a medium body, accompanied by firm tannins and a structured profile.
