The Drappier Grande Sendrée 2015 is a prestige-cuvée Champagne from the Côte des Bar in the Aube. This wine is composed of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay from a single parcel on Kimmeridgian marl. Approximately 35% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for nine months, and it undergoes complete malolactic fermentation. The Champagne is bottled with minimal sulphur and low dosage, reflecting Drappier`s house style. After spending around seven years on the lees, the 2015 vintage shows a rich, full-bodied character with notes of brioche, dried apple and flint, balanced by a fine mousse and a long, subtly spicy finish.
