Fay Carteria Valtellina Superiore 2019 is a single-vineyard Nebbiolo sourced from the esteemed Carteria cru. Situated at 450 metres above sea level, the vineyard benefits from a cool climate that promotes balanced ripeness and concentration. The wine undergoes fermentation for 12 months in a combination of 30hl oak casks and 500-litre barrels, followed by an additional 15 months of bottle ageing prior to release. The aromatic profile features red berries, floral notes and subtle spice, presenting a framework of firm acidity that underscores its character.
