This design dates back to 1971 and is formed from a curving band of sterling silver that wraps gracefully around the ear. It is the work of designer Anne Ammitzbøll, who approached jewellery as decorative sculpture - designing with a keen eye for both form and fit. The piece is part of The Collector: a series of reissued designs from the Georg Jensen Copenhagen archives. Each piece in the collection was carefully selected from works by female artist-makers from the second half of the 20th century, reflecting the openness to artistic expression and craftsmanship on which Georg Jensen was founded.
