Gevrey Chambertin Combe Aux Moines Domaine Fourrier 2008 is an expression of Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy. Produced by Jean-Marie Fourrier, a respected winemaker renowned for his precision and respect for the terroir, this wine comes from 80-year-old vines located in the highest part of the Combe Aux Moines vineyard, adjacent to the forest. The cooler conditions of the 2008 vintage contributed to a lower alcohol level of 13%, showcasing a wine with energetic acidity. The vinification process involved minimal extraction and the use of only 20% new oak. Flavours include crunchy Redcurrants, Pomegranate, and an unmistakable flinty mineral character.
