Gevrey-Chambertin En Reniard Les Horées 2020 is a village-level Pinot Noir from the micro-négoce project of Catharina Sadde in Burgundy. The En Reniard parcel is situated on the lower slopes of Gevrey-Chambertin, where the soils provide a wine of notable fruit density and structure. The 2020 vintage was hot and dry, yielding a wine with a deep colour and ripe aromas of black cherry, spice and earth. Sadde utilised 100% whole-cluster fermentation and no added sulphur, resulting in a palate that is remarkably pure and vibrant. It is a highly sought-after bottling that showcases a modern, energetic approach to traditional Gevrey-Chambertin.
