Glenmorangie 23 Year Old Azuma Makoto is a limited-edition, age-statement single malt whisky produced at the Glenmorangie Distillery. Released in a strictly limited, this 23-year-old Glenmorangie is a collaboration between the distillery`s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, and Japanese botanical artist, Azuma Makoto. Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, this earthy, floral expression of Glenmorangie was finished in casks which previously held Meursault white Burgundy wine. Expect a rich, heady single malt with complex notes of lemon balsam, honeycomb, poached pears and balsamic herbs.
