The area around Grand Seiko’s Studio Shizukuishi is one of Japan’s finest birch forests, a landscape which has long inspired its Takumi artisans. The black dial of this Evolution 9 watch is finished with the Birch Pattern, its deep, dark surface capturing the beauty of the birch forest at night.

The 40mm case and bracelet are crafted in high-intensity titanium, lightweight and exceptionally durable. The anti-reflective box sapphire crystal glass and screw-down crown ensure water resistance to 100m. The three-fold clasp features a push-button release and micro-adjustment function for a precise, personalised fit.

At the heart of the watch is the in-house crafted mechanical hi-beat calibre 9SA5, accurate to +8/-1 seconds per day with an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
