Gaja`s Grappa di Nebbiolo Sperss is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested from Gaja’s renowned vineyard. Situated in the Serralunga commune of Barolo, the 12-hectare Sperss vineyard was acquired by the Gaja family in 1988 and is the source of grapes for their iconic Barolo wine. Similar to their Grappa di Magari from Tuscany, Gaja Grappa di Nebbiolo Sperss undergoes barrel ageing. The name `Sperss` translates to ‘nostalgia’ in the Piedmontese dialect.
