A still white wine from Kent crafted from Chardonnay grapes grown on south-facing clay and chalk slopes. Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in French oak, a portion undergoes malolactic conversion which builds a creamy texture. Aromas of citrus peel, green apple and toasted hazelnut mingle with subtle smoke and flint notes. The palate is finely weighted with bright acidity and a chalky mineral line, leading to a focused, saline finish that showcases its English cool-climate character.
