The 1996 Château Haut-Brion is an incredibly harmonious and stylish blend of 50% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc, that is perfectly ready for drinking. As ever it is rich, intense and gloriously perfumed, with notes of ripe black fruits, dried herbs, tobacco, black olive, liquorice and scorched earth.
