Hermitage Tardieu-Laurent 2015 is a Syrah from the northern Rhône valley produced from old vines in the Greffieux and Bessards sectors of Hermitage. This 2015 bottling possesses exceptional concentration and ripe tannins which result in a wine with a deep colour and a profile of blackberry and smoked meat. It was matured in new French oak barrels but the intensity of the fruit remains the dominant feature. The palate is full-bodied and powerful with a firm structure that suggests a long potential for ageing.
