The 1998 La Gaffelière has reached its full maturity. The nose reveals elements of truffle, thyme, herbs, and smoke that enhance the experience of fresh, sweet cherries. While the palate is not very lengthy, the aromatic complexity on the nose adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the wine.
