Latricieres Chambertin Louis Remy 2001

Price

£170.25

Domaine Chantal Remy, formerly known as Domaine Louis Remy, is a distinguished wine producer located in Morey-Saint-Denis. Their exclusive focus is on cultivating Pinot Noir, sourced from a select few small parcels within highly top-tier vineyards in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. The estate`s roots date back to 1820 when it was founded by the Remy family, with its headquarters situated in a 19th-century manor. This release hails from the Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, where the domaine owns a 0.4-hectare plot. Expect a delightful nose featuring notes of strawberries, red cherries, ripe berries, and earthy undertones. On the palate, it offers a pleasing combination of good acidity, moderate tannins, and flavours reminiscent of tart cherries, blood orange, and cedar.
