Le Pupille Saffredi 2022 is a meticulous blend showcasing 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, demonstrating the estate’s commitment to quality. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, predominantly new, this release reflects the evolution of the Saffredi designation since its inception in 1987. The fruit for Saffredi is sourced from the prized vineyards of the Morellino di Scansano region. Fattoria Le Pupille is helmed by Elisabetta Geppetti, who transitioned from academia to viticulture in the 1980s, emphasising a blend of tradition and innovation.
