The LG Outdoor Cam Plug-in is part of the Apple Home Collection — easy-to-use accessories that are simple to set up and that provide a private Apple Home experience.

Designed in collaboration with Apple, the LG Outdoor Cam Plug-in delivers reliable performance, easy adjustments and automations, and effortless one-tap setup — just bring your iPhone near the accessory.¹ Low-light color night vision helps maintain colour and detail after dark. When conditions become too dark for colour video, infrared (IR) night vision lets you continue to see people, packages and activity around your front door. Adaptive Multi-Stream Encoding automatically adapts to your device and network conditions to help keep viewing smooth. Recordings continue to be captured in full 2.5K resolution, so high-quality footage is always available when you need to review. A plug-in design helps simplify installation, making it easier to place the camera where it’s needed most.

With iCloud+, each camera gives you 10 days’ worth of event video history. Powered by Apple Intelligence, automatic video descriptions that summarise what’s happening in a clip and lets you search footage using natural, descriptive language to find specific moments fast.

The LG Outdoor Cam Plug-in has achieved the Diamond level in the UL Solutions IoT Security Rating. LG Shield helps protect your data, from setup through everyday use.

The LG Outdoor Cam Plug-in is controlled by your Apple products — including iPhone, Apple HomeView, HomePod and Apple TV 4K. Your data is private and secure in Home app and stored in a way that Apple or LG Electronics cannot read it.
