The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak (Old Presentation) is a notable expression of single malt Scotch whisky, matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks sourced from Jerez, Spain. This bottling exemplifies the distillery`s dedication to quality wood selection. Characterised by a profile featuring sultanas, dried fruits, and hints of ginger, it also includes nuances of chocolate and orange peel. The old presentation predates changes at the distillery, showcasing a full-bodied character complemented by a natural colour derived from its aging process. Established in 1824, Macallan is renowned for its craftsmanship and focus on sherry cask maturation.
