Crafted by winemaker Charlie Holland, the Marbury Chardonnay 2023 is the debut still wine from Jackson Family Wines' English venture in the Crouch Valley, Essex. Grapes are grown on London Clay soils in a warm, dry microclimate, whole-bunch pressed, and barrel-fermented with 10 months on lees in French oak (15% new). The nose offers ripe citrus and apple blossom with hints of brioche and toasted hazelnut, while the palate balances concentrated orchard fruit and orange zest with racy acidity and a mineral finish.
