From a 7ha plot of Merlot, the 2011 Masseto shows all of the hallmarks of warm vintage in Bolgheri. Exceptionally dark in colour followed by abundant aromas of black fruit, wild red berry fruit and dark chocolate. Unashamedly full-bodied and rich on the palate yet still retaining a glorious balance.
