Domaine Sylvain Cathiard is a family wine producer situated in the village of Vosne-Romanée. Sylvain’s son Sébastien has been fully in charge since 2011, overseeing their five hectares of vines spread between Vosne-Romanée, Nuit-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. This release hails from the Premier Cu ‘Aux Murgers’, where Cathiard owns a 0.48-hectare plot. The appellation is planted entirely to Pinot Noir and the wines are typically elegant, yet full-bodied wine with distinct notes of black fruit and spice.
