Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Chaignots 2008 is a Pinot Noir from the northern part of the appellation, near the border with Vosne-Romanée. The soils in Les Chaignots are stony and well-drained, typically producing wines with more floral and elegant profiles than the sturdier southern Nuits crus. This release displays aromas of redcurrant, pomegranate and dried flowers, with a persistent stony minerality.
