Jean Chauvenet is a family-owned domaine producing some of the most stylish and elegant wines in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Since 1994, the 9-hectare estate has been managed by Christine and Christophe Drag, after the retirement of Jean Chauvenet. This is the domaine’s ‘Les Vaucrains’, one of the finest premier cru vineyards in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. The 2012 vintage is a rather fragrant and moreish expression, displaying bright red strawberry fruit mingled with floral notes.
