Le Petit Mouton is the second wine from Château Mouton Rothschild, the iconic First Growth Bordeaux estate located in the commune of Pauillac. The 2021 vintage is a blend composed of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19.5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petit Verdot, aged in 50% new oak. It is a young but charming expression, delivering aromas of cassis, graphite, tobacco, and damp earth. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied, well-balanced, and elegant profile, with seamlessly integrated fine tannins and oak. The wine concludes with a splendid, lingering finish.
