Pétrus is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after wines in the world and widely recognized as the ‘crème de la crème’ of the Pomerol region. The Merlot-based wine comes from an 11.4-hectare vineyard located on a plateau, in the far east of the appellation. This is a very rare bottle from the 1972 vintage, which is surprisingly light-bodied and sweet.
