Romano Levi’s grappas are known to be some of the finest spirits ever distilled. They were made on a very small scale by the legendary producer until his death in 2008. This particular expression was produced from the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes, grown to make Barolo. It offers an intense aroma profile of tobacco leaves and chocolate. On the palate, it’s a rich but perfectly balanced grappa, with notes of liquorice, wood and spices.
