Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute is a limited-edition, ultra-premium blended whisky produced by Pernod Picard. The spectacular 62-gun salute is the highest ceremonial honour, reserved for the most significant royal occasions. 62 Gun Salute is presented in a midnight blue, hand-crafted Dartington Crystal decanter, adorned with 24-carat gold and crowned with a cut crystal stopper. Hand-crafted from start to finish, it truly is a work of art. Producer note. "The nose is exceptionally rich. Lavish swirls of ripe plums make merry with a sherried sweetness, while fine dark chocolate marries with hints of warm cinnamon. The flavour is powerful, bursting with intense, sweet orange and a deep, nutty, oaky flavour. A faint wisp of smoke gives way to a long, luxurious finish with superlative structure."
