Shafer Hillside Select 2009 is a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, California. This flagship wine is known for its intense, full-bodied profile and structural elegance, derived from the rugged, rocky soils of the estate’s hillside vineyards. It features a complex nose of black currant, dark chocolate, espresso, cedar and mountain herbs. The palate is rich and layered, with polished, firm tannins that provide a long, impressive finish.
