Sine Qua Non is a highly acclaimed cult wine label based in California. Founded by winemaker Manfred Krankl and his wife Elaine, the winery has gained a legendary reputation for producing exceptionally limited and sought-after wines. The 2020 Grenache Distenta is a blend of mostly 78% Grenache and the rest Mourvèdre, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and a tiny splash of Viognier. The wine was matured for approximately 23 months in 52% new French oak and demi-muids.
