This wine maintains a blend philosophy characteristic of its lineage, featuring firm tannins, a structured profile and complex layering of dark fruit and earthiness. Gaja, one of Italy’s most renowned producers, acquired the Sorì San Lorenzo vineyard in 1964, named after the local patron saint. The vineyard`s distinctive calcareous clay-marl soils and prime south-facing exposure contribute to the wine`s character and longevity.
