A bottle of `Scottish Critic` whisky from around the turn of the 20th century bottled for Glasgow based wine and spirits merchant Charles Wilkinson & Co. As far as we can tell, the Wilkinson family left Glasgow (and their wine and whisky merchant) in the late 1890s, moving to London and eventually settling on a farm in Essex. It`s reasonable to assume, based on online records and the bottle / cork closure that this whisky was produced at some point in the late 19th century.
