This bottling was released in 1997 to mark Tomatin distillery`s centenary, presented to guests at the anniversary lunch in a distinctive still-shaped decanter rather than a standard bottle, from a run of just 200. Matured for 30 years in sherry casks, it should show the rich, dried fruit, sherry and spice character typical of long-aged, sherry-matured Highland malt, developed further by decades of extra ageing in bottle since release. An exceptionally rare piece of Tomatin`s history, this is a collector`s item best suited to whisky enthusiasts and anniversary-bottling specialists.
