Veneroso Tenuta di Ghizzano 2020 is a red blend from the Terre di Pisa region of Tuscany in Italy. A biodynamically farmed blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2020 release spent 16 months in French oak barrels. It displays aromas of wild cherry, tobacco, liquorice and Mediterranean scrub. The tannins are polished and integrated, providing a firm backbone for the ripe, generous fruit core, resulting in a refined wine that demonstrates the potential for elegance in this coastal Tuscan subzone.
