The 1999 vintage was one of Burgundy`s finest of the decade, and this bottle should now be fully mature. expect a garnet colour, a nose of cherry, forest floor, game and warm spice, with a silky, still-firm palate and a long, savoury finish. Best enjoyed now with roast duck or mature Comté.
