Walgate Blanc de Blancs 2020 is a traditional method sparkling wine from East Sussex, produced by winemaker Ben Walgate using 100% Chardonnay. Sourced from premium growers in the southeast of England, the fruit underwent a slow, natural fermentation with wild yeasts before ageing on lees to build depth and a refined mousse. It offers a profile of green apple, citrus zest, white flowers and a subtle, bready autolysis. The palate is precise and energetic, balancing a sharp, chalky minerality with a creamy texture and a persistent, saline finish.
