Schlossberg Riesling Cuvée Ste Catherine 2005 from Domaine Weinbach is a Grand Cru Alsatian white from a warm and solar vintage. Sourced from the upper granite slopes of the Schlossberg, the wine offers a profile of candied citrus, yellow peach, honey and a piercing smoky minerality. The palate is broad and voluminous, yet remains underpinned by a firm acidic core and a distinct flinty character. After two decades, the wine has developed subtle notes of petrol and beeswax, maintaining a long and mineral-driven finish.
