The Weyborne Oriana Golden Spur is a Champagne-method sparkling wine from a single estate located at the highest point of the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. This cuvée is crafted by winemaker Benjamin Abric using a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a small addition of Pinot Meunier grown on mixed clay, greensand and chalk soils. On the nose it reveals warm brioche, roasted hazelnuts and ripe orchard fruits while the palate delivers a creamy mousse balanced by a sharp mineral thread and citrus energy. With its low dosage and extended lees ageing, it offers a rich and structured profile that concludes with a long finish of baked apple and toasted almond.
