‘A Trail of Smoke’ forms part of House of Hazelwood’s Autumn 2022 Collection. The release is a 42-year-old blended malt, bottled at 46.5% ABV and limited to only 385 bottles. A vibrant and thoroughly enjoyable whisky, surprisingly light on the nose, with subtle citrus aromas and a fresh hint of sea salt. The peat only becomes noticeable on the palate, through distinctive maritime notes and a gentle layer of smoke.
