Made by the Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse monastery from a secret recipe involving over 130 alpine herbs and plants, Chartreuse Green from the Voiron bottling period (approximately 1966–1982). Decades of evolution have mellowed and deepened the spirit far beyond what modern bottles can achieve. Complex, herbal and gently oxidative, with a rounded sweetness and an extraordinary finish.
